COPD & asthma as disorders of the lung microbiome

"The lungs are sterile in their surfaces!" is what medical students used to be taught.

The lung surfaces are on the outside, i.e. the mucous membrane surfaces are in constant contact with the outside air and the many particles it contains, from fine dust to bacteria and pollen to toxic, irritating gases.

Smoking is a central trigger of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Various pharmaceuticals are used to treat shortness of breath, but none of them can really be considered healthy. In his naturopathic practice, Peter-Hansen Volkmann does not treat COPD as a lifelong illness, but looks for causes in the patient's environment and behaviour. This includes vinyl wallpaper on the wall as well as, for example, fine dust and gases at work and during leisure time, such as dust from keeping canaries indoors.

Alongside potentised autohaemotherapy, orthomolecular intestinal rehabilitation is the most important basis for the rapid healing of these clinical pictures. This is based on rapid stabilisation of the immune and meridian system through broad microbiome care - and consistent avoidance of fast food that makes you ill!
