Curcuma + Vit. B combines the secondary plant substance curcumin from organic turmeric (turmeric root) with piperine and essential B vitamins: Biotin, vitamins B2, B3, B5 and B6.
Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is mainly known from traditional Indian spices (curry). The main ingredient is curcumin, which is barely soluble in water and therefore cannot be optimally absorbed by the organism. To increase the bioavailability of curcumin, each capsule of Curcuma + Vit. B contains 250 mg curcumin combined with 15 mg piperine from black pepper.
Curcuma + Vit. B is primarily formulated to care for the sensitive intestinal mucosa. The skin and mucous membrane caring vitamins B2, B3 and biotin are responsible for this. Vitamins B2, B3, B6 and biotin contribute to the normal functioning of the nerves and therefore also benefit the intestinal nervous system ("gut brain").
