10 tips for your children's health

First and foremost, anyone who has children wants them to be well,

but what is really good for children's health?

We have reviewed numerous scientific studies for you and compiled 10 important tips for children's health

After all, we too only want the best for your children's health.

  1. No smoking - If possible, stop smoking as soon as you want to have children. Do not smoke during pregnancy or in the household with children. Cigarette smoke contains around 4000 toxic substances that threaten the health of mother and child.

  2. Be aware of your diet, nutrient supply and exercise before and during pregnancy. - The time before conception up to the child's 2nd birthday is particularly sensitive.

  3. Breastfeeding - Breastfed children are more likely to have probiotic bacteria in their intestines.

  4. Siblings and furry pets - Babies who grow up with siblings and furry pets are more likely to have probiotic bacteria in their gut.

  5. Eat breakfast regularly - reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes, among other things.

  6. Not too much sugar - Many parents underestimate the sugar content of foods.

  7. Avoid being overweight - Being overweight as a child harbours many health risks and usually becomes a lifelong burden.

  8. Adequate exercise - Many (parents and) children do too little exercise, increasing their risk of obesity. Only one in 10 children achieves the recommended 60 min/day.

  9. Limit media consumption - The grey matter in the brain shrinks with long-term television viewing, mobile phone radiation can disrupt the brain performance of young people, and daily use of electronic media leads to emotional and psychological behavioural problems in 2 to 6-year-olds - to name just a few of the recent study results.

  10. Use antibiotics sparingly and rebuild the intestinal flora at the same time or at the latest afterwards - antibiotics change the intestinal flora - sometimes over months and years.

All the best for your health and that of your children
