What is alkaline fasting?


Fasting is not a diet!

Fasting strengthens you and contributes to your stability. Hence the name "fasting", which is derived from the Middle High German "vaste" for firm or fasten.

Whoever fasts does not suffer from deprivation, but consciously abstains from certain foods or things for a limited period of time. When fasting, we automatically take a close look at our diet and our health and reward ourselves with

Fasting relieves and cleanses the body. Sometimes it can even alleviate illnesses, as proven by the successful use of therapeutic fasting for civilisation diseases ranging from high blood pressure to diabetes.

Special features of alkaline fasting 

Alkaline fasting is one of the most popular forms of fasting. The famous Austrian fasting doctor F.-X. Mayr recognised the beneficial effect of a light diet and the associated relief of the intestines on health 
In alkaline fasting, this is achieved primarily through an excess of alkalising foods, the breakdown of which produces more alkaline substances in the body. On the other hand, foods that are difficult to digest and harmful should be avoided during the fasting period, which usually lasts 7 to 14 days.
