By using plant-based beta-carotene as a provitamin, it ensures a tailored supply of vitamin A3—essential for eye, skin, and mucous membrane health. This allows our bodies to produce exactly the amount of vitamin A needed at any given time.
With vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), ADEK provides the most physiologically important form of vitamin D. From calcium balance4, bones2, muscles5, and teeth5 to cell division6 and the immune system1—vitamin D plays a role in them all. This makes an adequate supply of the famous "sunshine vitamin" all the more important.
We also use vitamin E in the form our bodies can best transport and store: as pure RRR-alpha-tocopherol derived from vegetable oil. This fat-soluble antioxidant protects sensitive fats and lipid-rich cell membranes from oxidative stress7.
