Itis-Protect® 3 is the third phase of our four-part Itis-Protect® micronutrient concept designed for immune function1 and antioxidant cell protection2. It builds seamlessly upon the previous phases, rounding out your nutritional intake with high-quality omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and selected microorganisms found in the natural gut flora.
With Itis-Protect® 3, you receive vitamins E, D, B5, B6, and B12 along with bioactive folic acid, high-purity fish oil (EPA/DHA), black cumin oil, magnesium, calcium and silica.
The concept is complemented by three gut-active, viable symbionts Bifidobacterium bifidum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, and Enterococcus faecium as well as the specialized yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
These nutrients support key physiological functions, including:
• Protection of cells from oxidative stress2 (Vitamin E)
• Normal immune system function1 (Folic acid, vitamins B5, B6, B12, and D)

Since April 2026, Itis-Protect® is no longer classified as a food for special medical purposes (FSMP) for the dietary management of periodontitis, instead, it is a dietary supplement that takes a holistic approach to supporting the entire body, extending beyond just the periodontal tissues.
What remains the same? The composition of the products and the proven approach focusing on the immune system1, antioxidant nutrition2 and cell protection2. With its four-phase approach, Itis-Protect® supplies the body over a period of four months with a wide range of essential vitamins, trace elements, and minerals combined with viable cultures. It also includes omega fatty acids from fish oil and black cumin oil, as well as vitamin D nutrients that the body can only produce in limited quantities on its own.
Alongside our "hypo-A-Darmpflege" (gut care) range, Itis-Protect® is our second nutrient system in which each phase carefully builds upon the previous one—creating a sensible, simple micronutrient routine.
